The Description
Introduction
With these funds students will develop life-long memories as well as a deeper appreciation for the culture of the United
States of America. This tour is an interactive experience the many cultural and historic sites in the Washington,
DC area to support standards in English II-III, US Hist, Chemistry, Algebra II, Geometry, STEM II-III, & Physical Science.
This is an 8-day excursion which will build school spirit, camaraderie, morale, and most importantly bring to life many of
the objectives taught to 8th-11th Grade students.
Cost Analysis
The total cost of taking two buses of students and chaperones to Washington, DC is $67,459.50. We are seeking roughly half this amount to defray the costs for 110 participants from our school (102 students and 8 faculty chaperones on two buses). The costs for individual participants are as follows:

Back Up Plan
If we do not meet my goal, there are 5 fundraisers planned throughout as well to help us defray costs. We are selling chocolate bars, coupon books, hosting a dance, a dress out day, and a car wash. Proceeds for the group and for individuals will be discounted from later payments and working forward.
