I work as a Dean of Instruction at KIPP Dream Prep. I coach and manage the third and fourth grade teams as well as the special education team. This is my eleventh year working as an educator.

I graduated from Clemson University and started my teaching career with Teach for America. I am a 6th year teacher, grade level chair and teacher leader. I teach second grade at a title one school on a modular campus.

I am one of two Learning Specialists at KIPP Dream working with some of our highest needs students. My work is vital to helping ALL students meet the goal of going to and through college.

I am currently teaching all subjects in fourth grade, at KIPP Dream Prep. I graduated with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education. I am truly inspired by the children I work with everyday.I am thankful for any help that I get.

I am a first-year teacher at KIPP Dream. I teach 3rd grade and I am excited to be living out my dream of teaching. I want my students to be lifelong learners and appreciate acquiring knowledge. Our motto is we didn't wake up to be average, we woke up to be great. What pushes me everyday is knowing that they have untapped potential that can change the world if they have resources to use those gifts they possess. I truly believe my students will change the world and it is up to me to get them to realize that they determine their own reality.

I have a sincere love and passion for supporting students and teachers from an overlooked perspective. My ultimate goal is to educate and keep students safe in a learning vigorous environment. Pushing for new ways to think outside the box when it comes to our work flow in a school clinic setting. I work with multiple outstanding KIPP schools here in Houston, TX. Our school based clinic is housed at KIPP Dream Prep but I also work with KIPP 3D Academy and KIPP Generations Collegiate, servicing over 1800 students from Pk3 - 12th grade.

I am a dedicated educator who LOVES to read! I have a passion to bring the love of reading to students in primary school. I have been in education for 13 years and I am always looking for new ways to motivate students to learn.
