The Description

With these funds I will...purchase tap shoes for the Dance team. My students have been given the opportunity to learn tap but have no shoes. With your help I can make their dreams come true. They have worked so hard to earn the rest of their money for their uniforms and bags. The dance team is a great group of 22 boys and girls that dance hip hop at school events but want to learn more. Without tap shoes they will not be able to learn and enjoy this new type of dance.

About the Creator

My name is Mrs. Devivo and I teach Reading and dance at a high poverty school. My students are grades 9-12 trying to graduate and make a difference in the world they live in. My dance team is in its 1st year and already we are ready to compete. My day job is teaching Reading. Most of my students are reading below grade level. My job is to get them ready for the state test so that they can graduate high school.
